There is a £2K salary incentive attached to this role of £1k upon commencement in the role and a further £1k (pro rata if PT) after successful completion of the probationary period (6 months).
Bromley Healthcare is enhancing the way speech and language therapy is delivered to children and young people across the borough, by embedding speech and language support into schools and pre-school settings.
Due to this exciting new project, the Children's Speech and Language Therapy Service is continuing to expand its fantastic and supportive team.
We are looking for Speech and Language Therapists with a passion for holistic working. Community clinics, pre-schools and Children and Family Centres,All work will be supported through regular, planned (as well as ad-hoc) training and supervision from Highly Specialist Band 7 Speech and Language Therapists.
We are keen to receive applications from experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated Band 6 Speech & Language Therapists to join our friendly and supportive team.
There are opportunities to work all year round or term-time only/part-time.You will work with a mixed paediatric caseload who have a range of speech, language and communication needs.
You will be responsible for the management, assessment and treatment of the children on these caseloads, with the support of peers and more senior colleagues.
Successful band 6 applicants will contribute to in-service training within the department and to take responsibility for the supervision of students and more junior staff.
You will be part of a dynamic, committed team of staff delivering high quality services to the population of Bromley.

To develop and provide universal, targeted and specialist speech and language therapy services to patients with speech , language and communication needsRecognised speech & language therapy degree qualification or equivalent.

Well developed analytical skills with use of knowledge necessary for case load management, assessment and therapy relevant to client group e.g.
