Principal Engineer - Contract (Microsoft Stack, Cloud Migration)

6-month Contract – Outside IR35

£600 - £800 per day

Manchester – 1 day per week in office

Lead Azure cloud migration projects, leveraging deep expertise in the Microsoft stack and cloud architecture.

The Role:

• Lead Azure Cloud Migration Projects: Drive migration initiatives, ensuring smooth transition from on-premises setups to Azure cloud, minimizing disruptions.
• RFP/RFQ Leadership: Take the lead on technical aspects of proposals, collaborating with teams to craft compelling bids showcasing our expertise and value.
• Technical Consultancy & Pre-Sales Support: Offer expert guidance to clients in pre-sales phases, aiding in decision-making.

Knowledge, Skills and Approach:

• Must have experience of working within Financial Service either end client or via consultancy.
• Proven experience in leading Azure cloud migration projects.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft stack, cloud architecture, and security best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to mentoring and fostering technical excellence.
