The Role
My client are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for their production facility in Melton Mowbray. You will support the production of pre-cast concrete beams for a major infrastructure project.
You will be the first point of contact in relation to plant repairs and maintenance, ensuring maximum output, whilst minimising waste.
You will use appropriate techniques to lead and support in the manufacture, modification, maintenance repair of productionmachinery equipment and ancillaries.
Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of all production plant
- Complete tasks in accordance with verbal and written instructions
- Agree and work to schedules
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance as requested
- Complete manufacture and modification as requested
- Use appropriate hand and power tools to complete tasks
- Use appropriate processes and techniques to complete tasks
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ensure all maintenance activities are recorded in line with Departmental requirements
- Ensure duties are undertaken in accordance with company policies
- Undertake training to support role
- Update and maintain Method Statements and Risk Assessments where necessary
- Complete other duties as reasonably requested, this will include out of hours work
- Must have mechanical and electrical experience.
- Experience within Concrete, Steel or similar industries
- NVG or 18th edition
