- Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive efficiency, improve and harmonise processes and optimize resource allocation
- Monitoring, developing and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Promoting objectives and key results (OKRs) to drive continuous improvement
- Owning the relationship with third-party vendors and suppliers
- Providing coaching and guidance to the Operations Management team to enhance their leadership skills and performance
- Developing and implementing talent initiatives to promote individual development and growth and identify future leaders within UK operations
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and best practice in energy retail operations.
- Own the submission of industry data submissions
- Own the budget for UK Operations
- Proven experience in a leadership role preferably overseeing operations within the energy retail sector or a regulated industry
- Demonstrated track record of driving operational efficiency, process improvement and organisational change
- Excellent people skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Analytical and structured mindset with the ability to leverage data and insight to inform decision-making and drive results
- Experience in collaborating and influencing effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
