Our client is a successful global company that provides a variety of on-site Laboratory Services to major pharmaceutical companies.They have an exciting opportunity for a GMP Warehouse / Chemical Stores Team Lead to join their team in Macclesfield.

Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience of GMP or similar role is essential
- Line management of a team of 68 Technologists
- Daily management of resource in GMP Warehouse & Chemical Stores Macclesfield
- Key contact for AZ personnel, other suppliers and external visitors
- Act as deputy to the Pharma Materials Manager
- Responsible for authoring Key documentation such as SOP's, guidelines and Work Instructions
- Responsible for delivering individual projects/targets in a timely manner
- Responsible for training and ability to sign off trainees in various aspects of the role
- Manage assigned projects, liaising with QA and other parties
- Manage assigned Deviations & Change Controls in a timely manner
- Lead Facility tours and participate in local and Regulatory inspections as required
- Receive, locate and store materials in line with documented procedures into the relevant Inventory Management systems
- Follows SHE and GMP standards and be personably accountable for own actions
- Ensure all relevant activities (e.g. request setup, label generation, packing, labelling, warehousing and distribution) are executed on time and in line with written procedures and GMP requirements
- Ensuring compliance of activities performed are in adherence with defined schedules, GMP and quality agreements
- Responsible for coordination and execution of shipping activities
- Collaborate with key suppliers and partners on a daily basis
- Support both Clinical and Commercial manufacture using appropriate processes
About You:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of IATA and Known Consignor Regulations
- Up to date IATA, ADR and IMDG training
- DGSA qualified or working towards
- Proven customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to partner with other teams and suppliers and deliver results in a matrix environment managing
