Lettings Coordinator

Temporary - 3 Months
Full Time
£19.30 Hourly (Umbrella)
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably as a Lettings Coordinator, Property Manager or Property Inspector
- Knowledge of housing legislation, policies and procedures, including best practice regarding tenancy renewals and vacancies
- Experience providing an effective service to members of the public, and working with customers to resolve issues including maintenance issues and offering advice for customers with rent arrears
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent administrative abilities
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a fast paced environment, and ability to plan and organise workloads to meet deadliness
- Be the first point of call for both clients and customers, and deliver excellent customer service to all
- Ensure all communication, queries and maintenance issues that are reported by tenants and clients are responded to in a timely, professional and courteous manner
- Ensure all maintenance requests are documented and carried out in a timely manner by approved service providers
- Ensure annual Gas Safe, electrical or any other required periodic certifications are scheduled and conducted to comply with relevant legislation
- Responsibility for tenancy management issues including breaches of tenancy
- Offer advice to residents suffering with financial difficulty and rent arrears, liaise with income recovery team to find suitable solutions
- Conduct routine property inspections, and provide cover for Block Management duties, reporting any issues identified and following up on necessary repairs
- Work alongside internal and external key partners
- Provide high standards of customer care and equal opportunities in accordance with relevant policies
- Meet with potential clients and offer advice on the lettings process, as well as provide rental valuations
- Maintain Records: Accurately record all interactions, inspections, and maintenance requests in line with relevant policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and data protection guidelines are strictly followed
