A leading finance company recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Finance team in Darlington (hybrid working) on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The core purpose of the role is to support the production of Accounting Operations and Tax activities with a specific focus on defined process streams.

The person will be accountable for operational tasks including bank reconciliations, processing of chaps & foreign payments, request of cash transfers, payment preparation, daily cash flow forecasts and client monies including cashflow planning.

You will be responsible for inputs into the sub-ledger and general ledger close process within a robust financial control's framework.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of reconciliations as well assisting with external and internal audit requests and ad hoc investigations, supporting our Finance team and Business stakeholders.

Key to delivery in this role will be close collaboration with teams within Finance. You will be responsible forinputs into the sub-ledger and general ledger close process within a robustfinancial control's framework.

The successful candidate will havedemonstrable experience of reconciliations as well assisting with external and internalaudit requests and ad hoc investigations, supporting our Finance team andBusiness stakeholders.

You will have a good understanding of working with accounting operations such as banking and treasury.
Ideally studying towards AAT qualification or be part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

You will be analytical in your approach to allow you to effectively identify and resolve potential discrepancies discovered as part of the transformation journey.
