    Description
    Experienced Estimator – Hard Metal Roofing
    £40,000 - £55,000 + Hybrid Working

    My client are specialists in fully supported hard metal roofing, facades, cladding systems, and flat roofing for all types of projects.

    Working with some of the UKs largest manufacturers systems, including inverted hotmelt, built-up-felt warm roofs, single ply and cold applied liquid plastics, they are looking for an experienced estimator who has a minimum of 5 years industry experience to join their growing team.

    Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of:

    • The successful candidate will be expected to prepare tenders and undertake take offs from construction drawings, reading drawings, understanding specifications and using excel to a good standard.
    • Undertaking accurate take offs from construction drawings with a knowledge of Bluebeam estimating software being an advantage.
    • For secured projects attending handover meetings with surveying, design and management.
    • Project values will range from 200k to £4M plus.
    • Assist our document controller with gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
    • Assist our document controller with technical submittals for secured projects.
    We would expect the successful candidate to be well versed in over 18m non-combustible cladding solutions and fire barriers.

    • 5 years estimating experience in all types of flat roofing and should include but not be limited to:
    • Tapered insulation schemes.
    • 5 years estimating experience in rainscreen cladding and should include but not be limited to:
    • CWCT Aluminium rainscreen cladding systems.
    • Cavity / fire barriers.
    • Computer literate- especially in Excel, Word, Outlook and Bluebeam
    • Good professional telephone skills with smart appearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
