    The marketing department within Goldman Sachs Asset Management is growing rapidly, with incredible opportunity to build and grow your experience and skills. The Social Strategist will oversee creative strategies and execution for Goldman Sachs Asset Management social media channels in EMEA, including managing existing channels, exploring new ones, and the production of social media videos, graphic design, animations and copy creation. This role will assist graphic designers and copywriters focused on developing a regular cadence of engaging content. They will liaise with senior stakeholders cross-divisionally, managing communication flows among internal creative teams and social platform partners.

    The Social Strategist knows their craft and will cascade best practices throughout the division. They should be able to add value to the processes and building blocks of an excellent content team, with a growth mindset that will continually iterate and improve what exists.

    Role

    Responsibilities:

    Social Media Strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop content aligned with the EMEA business areas of focus
  • Understand channel environments and experiment to see how we can better meet client needs
  • Decide what and when to create on social channels, primarily LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Concept and maintain a matrixed content calendar across many different product and themes
  • Help establish processes and best practices, implementing them throughout the division
    Content Creation
  • Manage the content creation process, which includes the development and production of Manage the content creation process, which includes the development and production of graphics, animations, video and copy.
  • Assist designers, copywriters and agencies in creating social content, helping suggest images and videos, crafting copy, and utilizing relevant hashtags and handles to pair with the respective posts and platforms
  • Support day-to-day social media efforts, including requests from key internal stakeholders
  • Fact-check, proofread and get approvals for real-time social media requests
  • Help create, edit and manage content for executives
  • Help develop practices and procedures for managing workflow efficiently and building alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders
    Listening & Reporting
  • Utilize social listening tools to generate insights
  • Translate social media data into actionable reports that lead to optimization
  • Ability to confidently interact with senior leadership and provide timely feedback/advice
  • Work with Compliance to ensure adherence to social policies
  • Understanding of the competitor landscape and what is trending in the financial industry

    Required Skills and Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience managing social media for brands or publishers
  • Portfolio of high quality social creative that generated high-performing results
  • Very savvy user of essential social media platforms, with a heavy emphasis on LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Proficient in social media publishing and analysis tools
  • Strong editorial judgment, writing skills, and attention to detail
  • Creative mindset, passionate in the latest digital trends and how to apply them to the division's thinking in accessible, clever ways
  • Working understanding of graphic design and video production is a plus
  • Proactive, team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the asset management space or a strong interest is a plus
