    Part of a major international group, this organisation has recently invested in a new manufacturing facility and is currently launching new products into production.

    Due to internal movement a number of additional Maintenance Technicians are sought to work on a shift patterns.
    Maintenance Engineer

    Salary:
    c£45000 package plus excellent benefits

    Location:
    Staffordshire (commutable from Derby, Burton, Lichfield, Rugeley, Tamworth, Ashby areas)


    Duties:
    # Provide breakdown and preventative maintenance on automated/robot production lines
    # Carry out fault finding activities on large automated machinery incorporating robotics, PLC, HMI, material handling, hydraulics and pneumatics
    # TPM/PPM in high volume automated production facilities
    # Adhere to strict working practices and safety practices
    # Continuous improvements process to production equipment and machines
    # Support future capital equipment investment planning, installation and commissioning


    Requirements:
    Applications are sought from Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Technicians or Maintenance Electricians with experience gained in high volume automated machinery, ideally from automotive, FMCG, building products, medical devices or similar high technology sectors


    Skills/Qualifications:
    Time served/apprentice trained with Electrical or Mechatronics qualification and training – C&G, BTEC, NVQ level
    Knowledge of automation machinery incorporating robotic assembly, inspection or material handling
    Experience of electrical control systems, PLC/HMI fault finding
    Familiar with planned maintenance & TPM routines
    Willing/able to work on a three shift pattern with overtime available
