We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and proactive Software Engineer ( Frontend) who will assist us to develop and launch two IT projects relating to an AI driven tax computation platform and a decentralised finance/blockchain project. Both projects are intended to integrate with our current business offerings to help the business to grow. Schoolgate are currently seeking an experienced Front End developer with a highly specialist skillset including those listed below: -

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

● Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and user interfaces.

● Integrating with server-side APIs and third-party services.

● Meeting with the development team to discuss client requirements.

● Clearly and regularly communicating with management and technical support colleagues.

● Optimizing code for performance, and overall user experience.

● Leading software development projects.

● Ensuring that all SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.

● Performing trials, testing and quality checks to ensure strong functionality and optimisation.

● Maintaining and supporting systems.

● Keeping detailed records of development processes.

● Meeting company requirements and standards

● Staying updated on industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications and Experience:

● Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind.

● Strong experience using modern frontend frameworks , Angular, Vue etc).

● Experience with responsive UI design.

● Creative problem-solving skills.

● Strong attention to detail.

● Excellent verbal communication skills.

● Persistence when solving a problem.

● Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.

● Flexibility in thinking and in attitude, with the ability to accept a change in priorities as necessary.

● Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business.

● Excellent time management skills with ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

● Previous experience with blockchain-related Javascript libraries like is highly preferable.

● Familiarity with AI software like OpenAI/ChatGPT.

● Ability to speak above average Russian language.

Salary: GBP 49,500 gross per annum, based on experience

Full time position – 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday inclusive.
