    20th May 2024 The Governors of this welcoming, caring, and forward-thinking Church of England Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and skilled Pastoral Manager to join our highly talented and motivated team. Previous experience of safeguarding policy and procedures is essential. The Governors expect the successful candidate to support the Christian ethos of the school.

    We are looking for a Pastoral Manager who:

    • Demonstrates the interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
    • Is well organised, can work to deadlines and on their own initiative.
    • Has effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Remains calm under pressure and is supportive to pupils, parents, and staff.
    • Believes that all children deserve the best and will work to ensure this.
    • Will act as a positive role model.
    • Understands the challenges faced and the needs of the children from different backgrounds and abilities.
    • Sees the value of team and partnership working.
    • Will contribute to the Christian ethos of the school.
    • Provides support and interventions for pupils and families as required.
    • Has a minimum Grade C in both English and Maths
