THE OPPORTUNITY


An opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Planning Officer to join the Corporate Affairs planning team on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The role of Jaguar Land Rover's Corporate Affairs & Motorsport department is to protect and promote our company to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This role is a central point of coordination for the Jaguar Land Rover Limited (JLRL) Board Meetings, as well as providing support to the Corporate Planning Manager on corporate calendar maintenance.


WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Administration of Jaguar Land Rover Limited (JLRL) and Jaguar Land Rover Holdings Limited (JLRHL) Board meetings, which are the most senior executive operational forums within Jaguar Land Rover.
  • Draft JLRL agenda creation and submit for signoff, working closely with the CEO's Office (including Chief of Staff) and Head of the Corporate Legal Team.
  • Supporting the filing cadence across Jaguar Land Rover SharePoint, Tata Motors, and with JLR Board of Directors.
  • Organise and coordinate the smooth running of all JLRL and JLRHL Board meetings including calendar management, logistics of presenters, deck collation, catering, and digital support.
  • Provide support on the day for all JLRL and JLRHL Board meetings to ensure efficient and effective delivery by managing presenters, content and timing.
  • Engaging with a wide variety of presenters and Board Directors to support throughout the process.
  • Cascading agreed decisions and actions with the relevant teams, managing the action tracking process.
  • Create and update process flows, looking for opportunities to continually improve.
  • Day to day management of the jlrboard calendar and inbox, including meeting attendee and cadence checks.
  • Maintaining the day to day alterations of the corporate calendar, liaising with the EA team to facilitate changes throughout the year as well as looking for solutions where additional time is needed.
  • Liaising with catering teams for Board events, coordinating physical set up of Board lunch with Concierge.
  • Represent the company to externals in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable fashion, either face to face, through written communication or in clear and concise manner by phone.
  • Support broader function as needed during key activities and moments in time such as events and engagements for employees.
