Supervisor:

To lead the Corrugated Door Team in achieving production targets and quality standards on a daily basis, following and implementing efficient processes, mentor and train employees, and ensure that HSEQ protocols are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities and duties for the role will include:

Lead efficiencies and motivate corrugated door line employees to ensure that production targets are met, in order to maximise efficiency
Lead individual and team performance against targets and KPIs
Lead training for all new corrugated door line employees in all aspects of corrugated door production, machinery, operation, setting, safety, quality, etc.
Support Senior Supervisor in carrying out inductions for new starters/temps and fortnightly temp reviews
Ensure corrugated door employees are completing paperwork correctly and carrying out checks as instructed
Ensure all constituent parts of corrugated door production are manufactured in advance of door assembly to enable uninterrupted production flow, roller door chassis, bottom bars, door parts, guides
Ensure that areas are kept clean and tidy, encouraging a "clean as you go" policy
Maintaining and improving quality and service levels; make recommendations for processes, machinery, and resource improvements to enable current and future growth
Actively seek to develop good relationships with all Janus Europe employees, suppliers and customers
Lead by example to gain the respect, cooperation and support of colleagues
Report quality assurance issues during shifts to Senior Supervisor and/or QA Inspector
Report safety concerns during shifts to the Senior Supervisor and/or HSQ Manager
On occasion, be willing to work and represent the company on client sites, if required
On occasion, be willing to support at exhibitions by helping to transport and put together displays, if required
On occasion, be willing to work at other locations in the UK and overseas, if required

Key Attributes / Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing environment

years' experience in a Team Leader role

Experience of mentoring and developing a team
Leadership skills
A selfmotivated and flexible attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience of using an ERP system (desirable)
Decisionmaking skills
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop, making continuous improvements both professionally and personally
