Description
A globally renowned automotive group are looking for a Director of FP&A. This is a pivotal hire, leading the Group function and looking after a team of five.The business has recently been through a transformation, revamping the systems and processes to become more efficient and drive business performance.
The successful individual will be exposed to senior stakeholders daily, being on hand to deliver strategic plans and goals for the business.
The business work on a hybrid basis (min 2x a week in office) and value their supportive and collaborative culture.
Core responsibilities:
the quarterly and year-end reporting processes.
the annual budget and forecast process.
monthly variance analysis including monthly board packs and business reviews
robust forecasting models to provide accurate financial projections, highlighting market trends
a team of five, ensuring development in their roles
in-depth financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and efficient gains.
Key skills and experience required:
Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
leading an FP&A team.
in the automotive/manufacturing space desirable but not essential
analytical and strategic thinking skills
interpersonal and communication skills
with Excel and working with ERP systems i.e. Power BI
