Generating new maintenance contracts for an ambitious, growing Electrical Contractor - The verticals and revenue generation is down to you to lead and grow the Turnover - This role will become, head of commercial / Director within one side of an exciting SME,reporting to the MD
A business development role for a bright, ambitious Senior Sales Engineer or Senior Field Sales Contracts / Maintenance Sales Manager or Technical Sales Manager
Very strong leadership potential and growth - looking to quadruple turnover in the next 5 years - Electrical contractor sector - Carte Blanche on revenue generation (Route to market experience not industry experience is more important).
A genuine opportunity to put together your own sales strategy and generate revenue the way you already know how to do with no geographical or sector restrictions.
A very dynamic, progressive, autonomous sales working with the Head of Operations to build new revenue streams
THE ROLE & Personality experience and personality fit:
- Researching & developing the product/service we offer to best suit the customer
- Identifying the customer and creating an opportunity
- Working with the leadership team to identify what services/markets to enter/scale (commercial strategy)
- Brand and marketing strategy to assist you in developing new business opportunity
- Sales operations advising and communicating internal structure to support growth
- Seeking + negotiating new customers you will be responsible for bring in and closing the new revenue opportunity
- Relationships with existing customers and feedback following job completion
- We are looking for a go getter someone ambitious and motivated who has knowledge or the route to market
- An electrical qual or previous sales engineer experience would be a bonus but not essential
- Someone who understand SME culture and is happy to fit in and be a team player for the good of the company, team, and big picture
- Nothing is perfect but you can help develop a commercial / sales function and help grow the business over the next ten years
- Someone who ideally wants to develop and progress themselves.
PACKAGE and On target earnings etc is to be negotiated but year 1. Uncapped earning potential with year 2 to surpass this.
