Our Staffordshire based chemical client is currently recruiting for a Shift Laboratory Technician

Joining an existing laboratory team, the successful candidate will be using a range of analytical and wet chemistry techniques to analyse a range of raw materials and chemical finished products.

This is a hands on position and will involve working on a shift pattern - using techniques such as spectroscopy, titrations and others, providing timely and accurate analytical results.

Ensuring all quality and H&S standards are followed and maintained

Instrument calibration and trouble shooting Applications are invited from candidates with a HNC, BSc in Chemistry (or related subject), together with previous suitable hands-on skills and experience using forms of spectroscopy and other analytical techniques to test chemical sample matrices.

Note - this role will require working on a shift pattern, including earlies, days and nights + weekend work - Own transportation would therefore be beneficial.

This is a permanent position, offering a salary of up to £30,000 (including shift allowance)
