    MRP / Production Controller

    £EMBS Engineering is working with a precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a specialist in machining and fabricating small to medium-complex components for a variety of lucrative industry sectors including; Aerospace, Automotive, Sub Sea, Defence just to name a few. Due to the recent growth within the company, our client is looking for a MRP / Production Controller to join them on a permanent basis.
    Maintaining an accurate order book, generating the Master Production Schedule and a three-month financial plan, as well as closing and filing work orders for auditing purposes

    • Running weekly Material Resource Planning, communicating production plans to Operations, and producing expedite reports for effective part management
    • Monitoring and reporting sales performance, interpreting customer demand, and evaluating Contract Review documentation are crucial aspects of the position
    • Act as the primary contact for customer liaison, assist in recovery program preparation, and prioritise workload in accordance with customer and company policies
    • Ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards, liaising with clients on supply and demand, and providing weekly progress reports to the Operations Manager are integral components of this multifaceted role
    Strong background in a similar position - MRP Controller, Production Controller, Production Planner, MRP Planner, Planning Coordinator, etc. Ability to engage in strategic planning, allocate resources efficiently, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders is crucial

    • Proficiency in production planning, forecasting, and a strong command of tools such as MS Excel and MRP Systems is required
    * 25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience
    * 25 + statutory bank holidays
