    Role Description:

    Due to an increase in our reporting portfolio, we are looking to recruit a regulatory reporting professional into our Bromley office. The Cross Business Regulatory Reporting and Processes (CBRRPro) team supports Global Banking, Global Markets and Consumer Front Line Units (FLU). Global Banking NFRR performs regulatory reporting operations for select GCIB owned reports, which are typically cross border payments, transaction reports or deposit balance reports. This role will be responsible for monitoring the completeness, accuracy and submission of multiple high risk Non-Financial Regulatory Reports.



    Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure delivery of complete, accurate and timely regulatory reports to regulatory agencies.
  • You will execute control practices, including compliance with all regulatory/policy requirements and data quality standards.
  • You will document key risks, performance indicators, desktop procedures including controls and metrics related to reporting.
  • You will respond to regulatory agencies and internal control partners on inquiries and reporting breaches.
  • You will participate and represent the reporting function to control partners (e.g., Audit and Compliance)
  • You will identify, track, and remediate errors/breaches, data issues and control enhancements that impact the respective reports.
  • You will partner with upstream process owners and data providers to improve data quality of regulatory reports.
  • You will partner with Compliance and Technology teams to review and maintain data dictionaries for completeness of business requirements and ensure completeness of all operational and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with technology team and business analysts in providing requirements and user acceptance testing (UAT).

    What we are looking for:
  • You will have regulatory reporting experience in a banking or financial services environment.
  • You will have effective technical and data analytical skills with experience in analysing, managing, and reporting from large sets of structured data across multiple data sources.
  • You will have effective communication in both oral and written formats and tailor a message appropriately to the audience.
  • You will have the ability to work independently to prioritize work and deliver against regulatory deadlines.

    Skills that will help:
  • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and/or having undertaken reg exams will be advantageous.
  • Experience in technology implementation projects including involvement in building new systems to meet complex reporting requirements will be advantageous.
  • Understanding of payment processing, SWIFT messages, and banking clearing systems/rules will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and operational excellence experience will be advantageous.
