We are looking for an efficient well-motivated enthusiastic admin support to join our team.

The post will be dual sited but mainly based at Colchester Hospital with the expectation of working at our Talent for Care office at Ipswich when needed.

You will be working with a well
- establish high achieving and committed team.


You will have good communication skills, ability to work well in a team and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

You will also need to be able to plan and prioritise effectively, and have the ability to work flexibly.

To assist in the administration of the Talent for Care team

To assist with the "get in" agenda that sits under the talent for care initiative

Working with the wider education team ensure the Talent for Care agenda is fully embedded in the Trust

  • To assist in the planning and coordinating of Work Experience placements
  • To communicate in a timely manner to all work experience enquires
  • To maintain Work Experience Database
  • Assist the Talent for Care Coordinator to increase the number of Health Ambassadors within the Trust by working with wards and departments to identify suitable individuals.
  • To work closely with the Talent for Care in ensuring Health Ambassadors attend school events, career conventions.
  • Support the TFC Coordinator in liaising with Schools, Colleges, Job Centre and local councils to devise new ways of promoting NHS careers to the younger generation
  • Liaise with Talent for Care to assist with the running of 'Scenario Day' events for young people to attend.
  • Assist the TFC Leads in growing apprenticeships across ESNEFT
  • To maintain the Apprenticeship Levy Database
  • To maintain the Apprentice Digital Apprenticeship Service Account
  • To communicate in a timely manner for apprenticeship queries received
  • Work closely with the ESNEFT Apprenticeship Delivery Team.
  • To undertake any specific work as directed by the Talent for Care leads
  • To assist in the planning and coordination of any Talent for Care events internal and external to the Trust
  • To assist and participate in the development of new systems, processes and ways of working for the short, medium and long term development
  • To act in a professional manner at all times as appropriate to an 'Ambassador' for the Hospital and engender a culture of 'continual improvement' in the staff to ensure the service is refined and improved through the engagement of service users.
  • To follow departmental and Trust policies and procedures
  • Ensure telephone calls are resolved as appropriate and responses are not unduly delayed.
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post.
  • To work flexibly and provide cover for colleagues across the department when necessary
