    Metalis are working with a highly respected automotive engineering company, who are looking for a Process Technician to join their team.

    The Process Technician plays a crucial role in supporting Project Engineers to achieve business objectives, enhance efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Record all process changes and update setting sheets upon approval.
    Complete relevant Standard Work on a daily/weekly basis to meet business needs.
    Provide training to colleagues as required, ensuring adherence to company standards.
    Support team members in identifying improvement activities and problem-solving.
    Ensure accurate and timely data collection.
    Facilitate Health & Safety and Environmental procedures, ensuring compliance.
    Maintain high standards of housekeeping and promote a 5S culture.
    Foster team building and positive working relations through example and practice.
    Focus on cycle times and tool life optimization.
    Support shift/team leaders and production personnel with manufacturing issues.
    Assist maintenance with TPM/PPM procedures.
    Improve line changeovers efficiency.
    Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and drive improvements

    Qualifications and Experience Levels:
    Background in Production/Manufacturing.
    Proficient in computer skills.
    Experience or background in CNC machining (Fanuc/Siemens).
    ONC/HNCC in Engineering or equivalent qualification

    Hours:
    PM Shift - 2pm-10pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 6pm Friday (37 hours per week)

    Salary:
    £29,400 pa + £1.08 ph shift allowance
    Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
