- Take overall responsibility for architecting the memory system found in our client's GPUs
- Explore the design space and document ideas/provide estimates of throughput, performance, energy consumption area, and bandwidth for proposed changes.
- Work closely with memory system design and verification engineers to deliver new memory systems.
- Work collaboratively with the wider GPU team including, but not limited to, project leads, the implementation team, modeling team, and software/firmware teams.
- Proven track record designing memory systems/memory system components for use in multicore GPU or CPU systems.
- Extensive technical expereince in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
- Extensive knowledge, and ability to discuss at length, of scalable memory systems, cache coherency, and address translation.

We are currently recruiting a GPU Memory System Design Architect for a world-leading semiconductor company in the UK working at the cutting edge of next-generation GPU technologies. The team is looking to expand its GPU Hardware team with a GPU Memory System Design Architect.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Cambridge offering hybrid work (2 days in office/3 days remote).
