A leading international brokerage firm is looking for a senior Product controller to join their fast-growing business. This role differs from many similar roles in the market as it offers a more broad-ranging role with autonomy and progression that would not necessarily be matched in other similar businesses. The company is growing and has continued growth plans to support your career progression. This role requires a technically strong qualified accountant with extensive experience in a similar role with direct product control experience and excellent communication and business partnering skills to manage relationships with the front office.

Main Duties:

• Daily P/L and balance sheet reporting
• Monthly reporting
• Validation of monthly results
• Assisting in the annual budgeting process
• Involvement in annual audits and financial reporting to assist the wider finance team
• Project work and process improvements
• Business partnering and stakeholder management

Key Experience:

• A recognised accounting Qualification
• Hands-on product control experience
• Financial services industry experience
• Experience of working within a commodities business would be ideal but is not essential
• Strong IT skills including Excel
