£26,000-£30,00

Duties:


  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all Supplier invoices to recording of costs and liabilities.
  • Manage and monitor Prepayments and Accruals in line with Company policies and management reporting requirements and reconcile all Control A/c's periodically as part of the month end process.
  • Maintain and accurate and up to date record of all matched/unmatched and over matched transactions. Ensuring any discrepancies are reviewed and relevant action taken.
  • Provide an uptodate Creditors Report periodically highlighting any issues/opportunities.
  • Manage all Supplier payments in line with agreed credit terms.
  • Monitor foreign currency requirements to ensure we manage risk and cashflow whilst meeting the need of the business.
  • Manage the feedback loop of errors and omissions to relevant individuals and departments to provide learning support and an environment of continuous improvement across the business.
  • Support the Year End process and the Annual Audit.
  • Constantly seek improvement to the internal finance processes through working practices, information and systems.
  • Undertake other tasks as requested by Finance Manager within limits of capability and training.

Skills Required:


  • Suitable experience of working in a finance team environment and Accounts Payable;
  • Experience of working within a customer service/sales
  • Experience of planning and prioritising to meet tight deadlines;
  • Knowledge of financial procedures including credit control, cash management and financial accounting;
  • Good understanding of current financial legislation in relation to Limited companies;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both internal and external customers;
  • Excellent administration and prioritisation skills;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships;
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
