*Please note: our Summer Internship Program will be running from June to September 2024* About your Internship: This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing product team at R3. Throughout the internship, you will have exposure to digital currency & assets product management & best practices. R3 is an innovate and stimulating environment working on a variety of initiatives with some of the world's leading FMIs central banks and commercial banks. Engage in weekly one-to-one sessions with your manager to discuss feedback and set goals for the upcoming week. Gain insights from leaders across the organisation, offering you a holistic view of how a pioneering tech start-up operates from Product to Sales. Showcase your work, learn from experienced team members, and make the most of the opportunities presented during your internship.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform product research to understand market needs and identify customer pain-points

Work alongside software teams to deliver products on time, with quality

Assist the product team in delivering the business strategy for our products

Work cross-functionally with teams to execute the product roadmap

Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, features & performance.

Work closely with the development team to define and refine user stories for the development team.

Answer product questions and help with product marketing and representing the product to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Strong analytical skills from an engineering, software development or business/finance degree background

Strong team-orientation with proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

The desire to understand and learn about DLT technology and its application to financial markets

Must have the willingness to learn, be proactive. You are somebody who takes pride in your work and likes to get stuff done

Strong analytical skills – you will be able to create flow diagrams and break down complex concepts into manageable deliverables

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Experience with Product tools such as Jira would be a plus

Please note that our Summer internship will be running from June-September 2024 and we can therefore only consider applicants who can commit to these time frames.
