Automation Controls EngineerOur Birmingham client is looking for an experienced Automation Controls Engineer.

You will be working for a dynamic company specialising in cutting-edge automation for turnkey projects seeks an experienced Control Development Engineer.

Play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining bespoke solutions for diverse projects in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities:
Implement automation processes using internal software and DACS based on customer requirements. Develop C# control software using the CADET API, with knowledge of VB6/VBA for legacy systems. Interface with 3rd party equipment for integration within CADET and C#. Develop automation sequences using CADET editor tools and analyse engineering systems. Conduct site visits for installation, testing, and documentation, both in the UK and globally. Understand and modify electrical systems for specific applications. Experience in a hardware-based automation role. PLC systems experience, especially safety PLC systems (desirable). C# and Visual Studio proficiency. Engineering understanding of control and automation systems. Familiarity with automation hardware. Full UK driving licence.
