Overview:


This is a temporary role which contributes to the production of all Cargo security systems and support the build of various mechanical, pneumatic sub-systems and component sub-assemblies.


Responsibilities:


  • Must be able to interpret mechanical drawings
  • Follow the instructions of the team leader both verbally and written
  • Ability to devlelop, understand and follow lift plans
  • Use of hand tools, including grinders, drills, saws etc
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and operate in a manner which does not endanger the job holder or the personnel around him/her

Qualifications:


Experience:


  • A team player working with other disciplines to progress the job
  • Flexible approach
  • Willing to work overtime where neccescary

3+ years of experience in a similar role

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Ideally time served apprentice in mechanical or similar discipline but not essential
  • Forklift licence
  • Overhead crane operator and slinging qualifications
