Part-time Kitchen Assistant required in Exeter
This is a 4-6 week placement to support sickness absence. Expected start early February

Hours: 8am - 1.30pm

Days:
Monday to Friday

Pay rate:
£10.98 per hour

As the Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages for dinner time and to act as the relief cook when required.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

To assist with the smooth running of the school kitchen.
To maintain standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment
To assist in devising menus to ensure a variety of meals are offered which meet the school food standards and cater for different dietary requirements as appropriate.
To prepare and set the dining area.
To load dishwashers and wash all utensils and kitchen equipment.
Clean all catering areas and surfaces to standards laid down by the school

Previous and similar experience is required
Enhanced DBS will be required.
