The Opportunity
Working for a large growing government body in Newcastle upon Tyne. Requirement to ideally be in the office 1-2 days a week in Newcastle or London. Financial Accounting Manager required for 4-6 months.

The Role
Financial Accounting Manager required to support the valuation of a large asset portfolio


Other duties include:

  • Maintaining asset register of investments, recognising income and disposals.
  • Ensuring investments are captured and accounted for accurately.
  • Maintaining and developing long term models.
  • Forecasting to support business decisions.
  • Involvement in annual accounts production under IFRS.
  • Regular monthly accounting analysis.

The Person
The Financial Accounting Manager will have significant technical accounting knowledge as well as be:

  • A Qualified Accountant
  • Knowledgeable with IFRS
  • Strong analytically

Other
Typical onboarding process takes 4 weeks so start date could be January.
