- Overseeing the process including the electrical generation from renewable energy sources.
- Working under Health & Safety guidelines.
- Continuous process operation.
- Finished product quality.
- Troubleshooting production / engineering problems on a busy Energy Plant, including basic engineering knowledge.
- Working as a Team member.
- Data Logging and Sampling.
- Environmental and general compliance under IPPC regulations and EMS accreditation.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing / factory environment, ideally in an energy plant that specialises in Steam and Generation. Recycling industry experience is beneficial.
- Take a proactive approach to problem solving and produce appropriate solutions to reduce disruption to working processes.
- Have a calm and methodical approach to work and be able to work under pressure within time constraints.
- Manage workload and daily task effectively and troubleshoot as and when required.
- Must be a team worker, helping the team to be developed and maintained.

The Position
Applications are invited for a Control Room Operative at our SecAnim Ltd, Widnes site. This site is a 24-hour operation running days per year. The position is full time, permanent working 12-hour shifts, on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (days and nights).
