Hales Group are currently working with our client based in Lowestoft who are a lead supplier and installer of metal throughout the UK.

They are looking for a Telesales Handler who will build and maintain relationships with contacts via telephone in order to maintain the quality of their ales database and create a steady flow of leads, enquires and sales opportunities for the sales team to follow up.

Key responsibilities

Call contacts from their database and build and maintain relationships with them
To maintain the quality and update their sales database
To create a steady flow of leads and enquiries for the sales team to follow up
Identify sales opportunities
Booking appointments for the sales teams
Source and add new contacts to their sales database, focusing on the company's target market, within budget and quantities set in the marketing plan
Work with the Sales and Marketing Manager to develop telemarketing campaigns with specific targets and outcomes, whether it be cleansing, lead generating, appointment booking, market research etc
Build and maintain relationships with customers to enable you to grade their likelihood to buy and annual spend potential
Grade and pass on any leads or enquiries to the sales team
Schedule followup calls and actions for long term leads and follow through until the customer is ready to make a decision
Update and maintain the quality the company's sales database

Skills and experience

Excellent telephone manner & skills
Highly selfmotivated, must be able to perform without supervision
Friendly disposition
Persistence
Previous telemarketing training and experience
