We are pleased to be supporting a manufacturing company based near Denton, Manchester who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to support the finance function.

This is a permanent role reporting to the Finance Manager and would suit someone who is AAT qualified or studying towards their qualifications due to the company being able to support with studies.

Duties:


  • Assist with the reconcile of balance sheet accounts
  • Petty cash
  • Cash journals
  • Inter company journals
  • Nominal ledger
  • Purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • Assist with the P&L reports
  • Maintain the cashbooks and credit card receipts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Support the other accounts assistants
  • General office duties

Software:

  • Strong MS Excel knowledge
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • AAT qualified or studying

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
