About the role:


As part of the RS Global SEO team, we are driving commercial performance and brand awareness through visibility on SERP (Search Engine Results Page) within 32 markets.

To make SEO a strategic advantage of RS Group, we want to recruit a team of experts skilled in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.


Working closely with cross-functional teams, this team will set clear SEO goals, optimisation directions, and collaboratively drive successful outcomes with stakeholders.

Our increased SEO maturity will set a new industry standard for SEO operational excellence


As an SEO Specialist, you will drive a big focus on maximising the value of SEO investment by using insight to identify optimisation opportunities in UK (United Kingdom) market and recommend local priorities for local SEO operation teams.


Key accountabilities:


  • Owning the local keyword research, keyword mapping and maintenance processes
  • Supporting the management of SEO performance dashboard and opportunity analysis
  • Delivering and supporting robust analyses to understand and prioritise commercial opportunities based on demand size, growth trend, potential increase in traffic and revenue and return on investment
  • Owning the metadata optimisation process, providing optimisation support to content and link building teams
  • Creating a strong relationship with your local market and drive accurate local language insights and SEO optimisation
  • Working alongside the content team to identify and fix issues related to content duplication and indexability
  • Working with PPC (Pay Per Click) executives to test ideas to improve Omni-SERP performance
  • Training stakeholders on the use of Search analytic tools such as BrightEdge, PowerBi, AHREF, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics
  • Providing training to Local Content and Local Marketing on SEO performance levers and their contribution to SEO performance
  • Working closely with the SEO platforms to ensure their roadmap is informed by our requirements

What we're looking for:


  • You have experience in SEO optimisations for improving SERP results
  • You are comfortable analysing SEO data
  • You have ability to explain SEO stories to nontechnical audiences and influence actions
  • You have project management skills
  • You can use some of the SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, MOZ, Google Search Console, Adobe, and PowerBI
  • You stay up to date on SEO Best Practices and Search Engine Industry
