    Salary & Benefits: Salary range £33,483 - £41,854 per annum dependant on experience, annual bonus, attractive pension scheme (Up to 10% company contribution), life assurance cover of 4 times pensionable salary and 25 days annual leave, 8 x bank holidays, plus a wellness day and development opportunities in line with the Executive Assistant progression plan.     Location: Bradford/ Hybrid Working (2-3 days in the office a week – Bradford and then home working)

    Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.

    We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join the Executive Team at Yorkshire Water and be part of helping support two of our Director's, could this be you?

    Where you fit in:

    As one of our Executive Assistants, you will provide a proactive and confidential service, providing organisational and administrative support to two of our Director's here at Yorkshire Water.

    You will represent the business in a positive and professional manner to colleagues and the wider internal and external community whilst working as part of a wider team to support the work of Yorkshire Water.

    We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships of trust with the Director's to better understand their ongoing needs and the needs of the business. You will be expected to coordinate complex senior diaries, proactively identify and manage work conflicts, demands and changing priorities and alleviate back-to-back meeting pressures where possible. In this role, you will also ensure Directors are fully briefed and in possession of all materials before any meetings or speaking engagements whilst coordinating complex travel itineraries, including national and international event registrations, as well as air, rail, and hotel bookings, ensuring travel preferences are met while being mindful of budgets.

    You will be able to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and contacts at all levels to include partners, regulatory bodies, board members etc whilst providing general office support such as processing of expenses, raising purchase orders and processing invoices.

    What skills and qualifications you will need:


    • Extensive experience of working at board level within a professional organisation

    • Proven experience of complex diary and email management for senior members within an organisation

    • Experience of minute / note taking

    • Energetic, flexible, responsive and with a can-do approach, taking on any task that needs doing

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively and confidently at all levels internally and externally

    • Outgoing and resilient

    • Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion at all times.

    • Ability to work on own initiative and without constant direct supervision, with a proactive approach to ensure support for the needs of the Director is anticipated, prepared and provided in a timely fashion.

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.

    • Intermediate to advanced IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    • Efficient organisational skills, with a very high degree of accuracy and an ability to prioritise an often-conflicting workload.

    • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure in a busy environment, adopting a calm approach

    • Ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines and be resourceful with the ability to focus on tasks and not be distracted

    • Flexibility to work additional / out of hours as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role and meet the business needs.

    • You will require a valid UK driving licence as you will be expected to drive to different work sites on occasions, as part of the role.
