Are you experienced in the design of heavy infrastructure projects, nuclear or regulated industry?
Would you like the chance to join a well-established engineering consultancy who drive the development of key projects, using sustainable solutions.
Due to successful project expansion, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to support our key client's UK Nuclear Fleet in joining a leading nuclear power and Engineering technical services.
Working with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high profile projects. Direct resources to perform analysis tasks as necessary.
Review and justify design decisions to the Office of Nuclear Regulation (ONR).
Develop client relationships as to help grow the portfolio.
MEng, MSc, BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree level qualification.
Previous experience in the design and/or construction of civil engineering solutions using Eurocodes (and ideally American codes).
Demonstrable experience in the design of heavy infrastructure projects, nuclear or regulated industry.
Experience using finite element modelling software and associated post processing software, with experience in validation and verification of modelling tools and their outputs.
Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environmentKnowledge and understanding of UK Nuclear Regulatory process in field of civil engineering is extremely desirable.
