We are recruiting for a Senior Account Coordinator to join a global client based near Tring. This is a rewarding, challenging and very satisfying role for an experienced coordinator

  • Hours: 8am
  • 4:45pm Monday to Thursday / 8am12pm on Friday (37 hr week)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver front line business support and order management
  • Provide a high level of customer service on product orders, ranging through quotation, contract acceptance, purchase order review, order tracking and performance, to due dates with internal departments
  • Follow up on invoicing, adjudication of warranty claims and recovery of overdue payment in conjunction with the Customer Support Management and Finance teams
  • Manage a robust contract / order review process ensuring all conditions are aligned
  • Submit any customer forecast information, acting on any demand changes and flowing any relevant information back to the customers
  • Provide a service driven customer quotation process which ensures strong links with internal functions to ensure accurate pricing and leadtimes are used in all product and service proposals
  • Manage, with Finance, the first level overdue process through invoice query resolution and provide all required supporting information to the Sales & Marketing and Customer Support Management teams for escalation issues
  • Participate in face to face or conference call customer meetings, ensuring all necessary information and data is prepared in advance
  • Manage the customer returns process, proactively communicating any quality alerts from customers to relevant internal departments

What the employer is looking for:

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role dealing with complex orders
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers, in a complex product ordering environment
  • Hunger to prove yourself and progress within a growing organisation
  • Highly resilient with the ability to deliver a step change in approach to customer service within a fastpaced environment, working to tight timescales
  • Confidence in attending face to face or virtual key client meetings
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
