A highly respected law firm based in Birmingham is recruiting a Finance Manager to join the firm on a permanent basis.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to run a finance department.


The role
We are looking for a Finance Manager who can work collaboratively with the Finance team across the firm. This role requires communication with fee earners, clients, and suppliers to maintain the standards set by the firm.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and control all duties carried out in the Finance Department and to delegate such of these as are necessary for the smooth running of the Department.
  • Be responsible for the daytoday management of the cashiering team, including appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Process client matters through the Finance Department and keep appropriate records.
  • Ensure monthly billing is completed promptly and month end close downs are on a timely basis.
  • Disseminate information relating to all financial and Finance Department matters to all fee earners and other members of staff as appropriate.
