Our client is an expanding medium sized firm of Structural & Civil Consulting Engineers with prestigious offices situated right in the heart of London.
They seek an Infrastructure Engineer to join their dedicated and expanding team. You can expect to work on an incredibly diverse range of schemes.
You will have experience of undertaking the design of drainage and roads on housing estates and inner city mixed used developments and be familiar with liaising and co-ordinating with numerous parties.You will be able to undertake designs using the principles of hydraulics and permanent design and able to adapt these principles to bespoke and innovative design.
You will have good communication skills and an ability to retrieve information
from others and negotiate approvals.
The ideal person should be able to demonstrate a proven background in roads and drainage design (probably around 2-4 years) as well as possessing good CAD skills. Experience in the following are desired:
You will have experience in the design of:
- Drainage
- SUD's
- Roads & Highways
You will also ideally have experience in preparing environmental assessments such as Flood Risk Assessments and BREEAM/ CFSH assessments (SUR1).
Experience of the following computer packages would be a distinct advantage:
- Microdrainage/ Windows
- PDS
- Autotrack
- Civils 3D
