    Description
    We are working with an NHS Trust who are seeking to appoint an Interim Specialist IT Project Manager. The role will be for 3 months initially.


    The project manager will, using formal project management methods, be responsible for the management and delivery of IM&T Projects, and programmes.

    This will be the full project life cycle from identification of requirements to the realisation of benefits and business change.


    Key responsibilities will include:
    Contribute to the delivery of the Trusts IM&T strategy;

    Plan, manage and implement a wide range of IM&T Projects across the Trust;

    Organise, provide guidance and take direction from a Project Board;

    Lead on the management of key programmes of work as defined in the IM&T strategy;

    Support Divisional Service teams to identify the scope, objectives and outputs of the project and prepare associated project documentation – e.g.

    Business Cases, Project Initiation Documents, project implementation plans, benefits realisation and risk analysis plans;

    Support Divisional Service teams with identifying and enabling operational change management resulting from the implementation of new IM&T systems across the Trust;

    Manage a virtual team via matrix organisation of different specialists, e.g. clinical staff, admin staff and IM&T Specialists as well as suppliers to deliver IM&T Projects across the Trust;

    Ensure relevant and accurate communications are provided to all project stakeholders providing feedback, risk analysis, project status and requirements that may impact on project delivery and or strategic direction.


    The ideal candidate will have:
    Digital qualification to Master's degree level and/or equivalent experience Digital Project Management at a senior level within an NHS healthcare setting;

    Experience in implementing complex, integrated IT systems within an NHS setting;

    Experience of managing project budgets and managing project change;

    IT Literacy in MS Office, especially MS Project;

    A proven ability to manage and deliver large scale IT projects from start-up, including scoping
