The Story
Fintelligent are currently partnered with a Private Equity backed Multi-site business who have overseen trmengrowth to c. £60m across the last 12 months. Our client has grown organically alongside establishing new territories outside of their Manchester homepost PE backing.

Given the continued development, we are seeking an experience Financial Controller who can partner with the well respected CFO in ensuring a fit for purpose, commercially viable and compliant finance function.


The Role

  • Developing robust financial controls and processes
  • Providing full financial due diligence on investment opportunities
  • Ownership of board pack generation inc. in depth variance analysis
  • Fully integrating newly acquired businesses inc. software, personnel, and culture
  • Leading a team of 6 full and part qualified accountants
  • Signing off month end processes
  • MI reporting to board and investors
  • Overseeing a systems implementation
  • Working closely with the CFO on other adhoc tasks

The Individual

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Comfortable engaging C-Level individuals
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to introduce new ideas
  • Willing to learn and develop under an exceptional CFO
  • Technical accounting expertise
  • Comfortable in a high growth environment
  • Exposure to Private Equity is highly advantageous
