    Business Development Manager


    Pertemps are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager on a full-time permanent basis on behalf of our client based in Shifnal, Shropshire.


    The successful candidate will be experienced in Business Development, lead generation and selling on a B2B basis, preferably within the events sector.


    Responsibilities include but not limited to:


    • Cold calling a variety of businesses.
    • Developing business in the field.
    • Generating Hot, Warm, and cold leads daily.
    • Able to identify & target specific business sectors/geographical areas.
    • Networking – Build relationships with potential customers.
    • Identify requirements for service contract through questioning techniques.
    • Identify & follow up future requirements/opportunities.
    • Produce professional service contract quotations and submit.
    • Follow up all quotes in a timely manner.
    • Overcome any objections.
    • Converting leads to a sale.
    • Set up customer accounts.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience in a Business Development role within the events sector.
    • 3-5+ years' experience in Business Development.
    • Comfortable cold calling.
    • Access to your own transport essential due to site location and client appointments.
    • Proficient using CRM systems.
    • Able to work independently and within a team.
    • Sales aptitude.

    Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am – 17:30pm | Fully office based.


    Salary: £35,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission.
