£31,396 to £36,024 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £32,982 to £38,205 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)

The Opportunity:
A position for a Research Assistant is open in our newly established research group at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer (IGC) in Edinburgh, which focuses on investigating the role of Chromatin Regulators in Cancer.
This full-time position (35 hours per week) is available with the flexibility to accommodate part-time (80%) and various working patterns.

Your skills and attributes for success:
- Be motivated, responsible and organised.
- Experienced with cell culture and standard molecular biology techniques.
- Be responsible for training new lab members on the tasks above.
- Have good communication skills and ability to document work.
