The Role:

  • We have an exciting opportunity to join the high-performing shared services Leadership & Management Development team

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and digitally confident individual seeking to play an instrumental role in developing innovative and engaging content for digital learning experiences. Through your own knowledge and expertise and also your ability to lead and inspire others, you will have the opportunity to support Hampshire County Council and its partners to meet their strategic objectives through scalable and agile learning solutions.
  • In this role you will manage a small team of experienced Digital Learning Designers. You will have an ability to lead and support colleagues to be high performing, including ensuring products are delivered to outlined quality and accessibility standards and meet timescales agreed with stakeholders. A passion to stay up to date with sector leading methodology approaches through new and existing networks and platforms will support you to stay ahead as the world of digital learning continues to progress.
  • You and your team will have varied roles in which you will scope learning needs alongside internal stakeholders, and design and develop and evaluate learning. You will have a knowledge of Instructional Design, learning models and learning science theories, as well as being highly confident in using digital learning tools creatively. These tools include elearning development platforms such as Articulate Storyline and Rise and image and video creation software such as Adobe and Vyond etc to design engaging elearning, infographics, videos and podcasts. High levels of competence in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint will also support you in delivering this role.
