A respected national law firm are looking to hire a senior lawyer to join their sanctions group in London. The firm offer good progression prospects, complex and interesting work and the chance to join a close-knit and growing team.

This sanctions group are looking to hire an individual with strong experience advising corporates, organisations and individuals on UK sanctions and preferably export control regimes aswell as having good knowledge of other non-UK systems such as EU and US sanctions. The new joiner will work closely with leading practitioners in this field and work closely with the firms in-house legal team, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of criminal investigation related matters including fraud, money laundering, account freezing and dawn raids.

The firm are looking for an individual with a minimum of six years of post-qualification experience within a leading regional, city or international firm. Qualification in an EU member aswell as being England and Wales qualified would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite to be considered. Additional experience in financial crime would be ideal but is also not a pre-requisite to be considered.
