Mid or Senior
North London
Up to £120k**I'm working with a leading Sports betting company in North London to recruit an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join their talented team. We are looking for someone from a Software Development background who has moved into a Platform or DevOps Engineerrole where you have been exposed to a broad range of tools across Infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management, Containers, Monitoring, Scripting etc.

They are a tech-led company who have built their own software platform inhouse, running on AWS and providing highly available and optimised platform to meet the complex needs of a trading system.

They work with little bureaucracy, can make quick decisions and they value everyone's ideas, opinions and contribution. They operate a no-blame culture and there is a strong spirit of shared ownership and collaboration in the team.

You will be part of ateam pushing multiple software releases to production every week so there is always something new to learn and lots going on.

You will have the opportunity to influence their processes, tools and technologies as they are always open to new ideas.

We are looking for a talented Platform Engineer at either a Mid-level or Senior level who has previous experience in software development before moving to into a Platform or DevOps role.

Essential skills:

AWS Cloud platforms
Terraform for Infrastructure-AsCode
Programming/Scripting experience any languages considered such as Python, , Bash, PowerShell, c#, etc.
Kubernetes (preferably using Amazon EKS)

Desirable Experience:

CI/CD tools they use Azure DevOps pipelines

Observability and Monitoring

Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, and ElasticSearch etc.
SRE practices and tooling
Linux
Docker

Salary:
Mid-Level £75k - £95k / Senior £100k - £120k + bonus + pension + medical

Location:
Hybrid - 2 days a week in North London office
