    We are currently recruiting for SeniorProject Controls Engineers to undertake duties within our Yorkshirebased, Infrastructure, Project Controls team, supporting projectsacross the energy, defence, rail, airports, highways, water andutilities sectors.

    You will work as part of our ProjectControls team on high-profile infrastructure projects, providingperformance reporting and analysis support.

    Typical activities include working with cost and planningengineers to develop work breakdown structures and robust performancebaselines, establishing progress and cost monitoring methods,producing project control reports and providing performance analysisand recommendations for our clients.

    Previous experienceworking in a project controls environment within the infrastructuresector (Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water / Utilities)is required, as is experience in at least one of the following:Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & RiskManagement, Planning, Project Controls and or PMO.

    Demonstrable knowledge of best practice planning principles;understanding of project and business objectives and drivers,translation of how a client specific life cycle or procurementstrategy may impact the plan, execution planning, consultation withcritical individuals and documents.

    • Working knowledge of planning systems such as Primavera, ProjectOnline, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject.
    • Assurance reviews – ensuring that all schedules are of a high quality,evidenced by using Primavera Schedlog, Acumen Fuse, DCMA 14 PointChecklist or simply a conscientious attitude towards the self-checkingof work prior to submission.
    • baseline management, planning workshops,progress data collection, performance measurement, variance reporting,escalation of issues.
    • Evaluation of project status;This may takethe form of chairing weekly meetings, progress reporting, compositionof schedule narratives, participation in risk reviews, recovery andscenario planning and making recommendations.
    • Holding work package owners to account for theirperformance, designing fit for purpose outputs to suit varyingstakeholder needs, the identification of key interfaces anddependencies, implementing meeting governance to ensure effectivecommunication and coordination.
