    Moorlands Grange, situated in Netherton, Huddersfield, is seeking a meticulous and organised individual to join our team as a Business Support Officer.

    Job Overview:

    At Moorlands Grange, we provide short-term stays lasting 4-6 weeks in a residential setting toprevent physical decline and improve overall wellbeing. Our purpose? To support individuals who are ready to be discharged from hospital or those who may not have access to crucial rehabilitation and reablement support in their homes.

    As a Business Support Officer at Moorlands Grange, you will be the backbone of our administrative functions, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the care community. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and friendly demeanour will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our care services.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Assist in the coordination of meetings, appointments, and events for the home
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate communication and streamline administrative processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work independently.
