Our job is to improve the lives of people who are threatened with or experience homelessness, a housing crisis, or mental health (MH) issues and trauma.

About the Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees
Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees will advise and guide the CEO and Board of Trustees on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.
the charity's board and its subcommittees by providing:
- Administrative and organisational support
- Guidance to ensure that the board works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework
- Advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the board

Duties of the Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees
Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees will:
- Plan the Board meetings and subcommittee meetings
- Ensure that each meeting has minutes
- Ensure that board matters are dealt with
- Manage board information and meeting papers
- Liaise with regulatory bodies as required
Required Skills for the Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees
- Working Knowledge of UK Charity and Company Law
- Substantial experience working with, and serving on UK Charity boards
- Experience in data protection and security.
- Substantial experience in reporting to the board of an organisation and assisting and advising on company policy, processes and the strategic direction of the Charity
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Competent IT user
- Knowledgeable and experienced in trustee, governance, and charity matters
- Developed stakeholder/partner relationship management skills
- Financial literacy
- Good planning skills
This is a part-time role and the salary is based on 7hrs per week. There is flexibility with home-working but you must be available to attend the meeting of the Charaty's trustee board in Swansea in the evening.
