Job summary
At BSMHFT we are seeking a Nurse Consultant in Infection Prevention and Control.
Reporting to the Acting Deputy Director of Nursing, you will hold a high-profile role, be accessible and have management & consultancy responsibility for the delivery of the infection control strategy, whilst providing effective clinical leadership that supports and inspires colleagues.
The post is fundamental in ensuring IPC assurance processes are in place and operational at BSMHFT.
You will be responsible for reducing the impact of infection on health services and reducing the incidents of healthcare associate infections (HCAI) across our patch.
