Description

You will be responsible for undertaking commercial building claims visits and providing efficient, customer focussed service by project managing claims from instruction to settlement.

The job will involve undertaking and providing the building development and coaching direction to the Commercial Claims teams


You will also be required to participate in Building audits to monitor building related leakage and other defined areas of process compliance and in turn using your findings and knowledge to report and identify training and development issues.

You will be field based working in various locations and to assist our loss adjusters with complex building claims when dealing with customers on a one-to-one basis


Your Role

  • Providing expert advice, guidance and coaching to technical colleagues to develop knowledge and understanding of customers, and customers' businesses and associated commercial drivers and risks.
  • Providing building Coaching the team of Loss Adjusters to ensure capability development inline with current and future business requirements.
  • Taking Building related audit output in designated key operational locations, reviewing live and closed claims files as required identifying process breaches and other areas for improvement.
  • Preparing and delivering building related case decisions and solutions to the customer, in line with agreed processes at designated level authority, to meet business objectives and the customer proposition.
  • Handling nonstandard or complex building claims on behalf of less qualified colleagues and when necessary escalating to more qualified colleagues to ensure they are handled appropriately.
  • Often taking Building technical complaints from inception to resolution and resolving escalations on behalf of colleagues requiring your technical knowledge.
